Today's medley session starts with the usual 200, 100 or 50 SKIPS to help you warm up and get ready for the main set. Just to add to the usual warm up, we also go through a mixture of IM and Freestyle Kick. Your kick is very important in the IM, so this is your chance to really focus on each stroke and get the kick strong and effective.
The main set is pretty straight forward, 6 times 200, 100 or 50 IM Fast, followed by the same distance in Freestyle easy recovery. Time your Fast IM's and really challenge yourself to get faster each time. The time cycle you leave on is meant to give you about a minute rest after your easy Freestyle. To get your cycle right, time your first round and see what you get to and leave this the same throughout the set.
Of course, we finish the set with an easy cool down to give your body the chance to relax to aid a faster recovery. Give it your all!
